For Bands & Musicians
Being a Musicpreneur today often leads to overwhelming feelings. It’s not just you—every musician’s career comes with an insane “to-do list.” Whether you’re just starting out or seasoned in your craft, there’s work to do every minute. From rehearsals, bookings and gigs to recording, writing, creating a website, deciding on music distributor, travel arrangements, single and album art, photoshoots, studio time, and the dreaded task of keeping up with social media marketing and ads, the list goes on.
Sound familiar?
Whether you like it or not, social media is here to stay and you can’t deny it’s a HUGE tool to use if you want your music heard. Much of the time, though, you may see very little progress, or lose momentum at critical times because you’re so busy trying to keep up with the to-do list I mentioned earlier. It’s scary. Especially when you don’t have access to the forward thinking strategies and help that you need. And, while you may see that need and have the desire to have a strong social media presence, there’s simply not enough time (or energy!) to learn what is needed AND be savvy at it.
That’s Where I Come In.
Whether you’re a fan of it or not, social media and digital marketing is here to stay, and they are incredibly powerful tools for getting your music heard. However, you might find that despite your efforts, progress can be slow, or you lose momentum at critical times due to the overwhelming to-do list I mentioned earlier. It’s a daunting situation, especially when you lack access to the forward-thinking strategies and support you need. While you recognize the importance of having a strong social media and web presence, finding the time (or energy!) to learn what’s needed and excel at it can feel like an impossible task.
As you’re reading this, you might already have a Facebook business page or group (awesome!), or perhaps you’re using your website, SoundCloud or YouTube to showcase your songs. You might even have an Instagram or TikTok account to share your band’s daily activities and gigs. Regardless of the platform you use, consistency is key. But to maintain your current followers and attract new ones, you need to consistently engage with your audience and share content that resonates with them.
Here are a few questions to consider: Have you explored how social media can benefit you or your band? Do you have a digital strategy in place? Alternatively, if you’re an independent musician or songwriter, do you believe that building a “brand” around your identity and music style is unattainable or futile?
Here’s the answer: IT’S NOT.
Remember: Your brand is essentially your music at first glance. It’s what determines whether people will hit play or click away. That’s how crucial it is! Make sure that your brand represents you positively and doesn’t work against you.
Here’s the bottom line: If you decide to work with me, my unique combination of business acumen, music industry knowledge, advanced social media expertise and digital strategy will help me create the strong online presence you desire. I also take pride in tailoring my approach to suit your preferences as a musician. I understand that you’re busy, so I can offer simple advice like a coach, give you social media tips in depth over time, or provide a straightforward roadmap to reach your goals. Think of me as another member of your band, collaborating to maximize your social media impact. I can’t wait to connect with you!
